Wondering what to do in town this weekend? With plenty of fun activities, from Disney shows to drag brunches, there’s something for everyone.

Friday Oct. 14th

  • Disney Live: Mickey & Minnie’s Doorway to Magic – Disney on Ice turns into a stage show with this production. Take your son, daughter, niece or nephew to this adorable evening at PPG Paints Arena. See moments from Toy Story, Cinderella and more. 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., PPG Paints Arena


  • Verdi’s “La Traviata” Head out to a fancy date night to see this opera with gorgeous, soaring arias and plenty of romance. 7:30 p.m., Benedum Center


Saturday Oct. 15th

  • Lights, Camera, Pittsburgh!Do you think you know all about the movies filmed here? Check out sights from The Dark Knight Rises to The Perks of Being a Wallflower and everything in between in what many have named the Hollywood of the East. 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Duquesne Incline


  • Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Anaheim DucksCheck out our boys in black and gold, the reigning Stanley Cup champions, at their early season game vs. Anaheim at the newly renamed PPG Paints Arena. 7 p.m., PPG Paints Arena


Sunday Oct. 16th

  • 321 RideIf you’re an avid cyclist, this one’s for you. Participants can choose from a seven-mile family ride, 25-mile trail/road ride or a 62-mile ride on the Great Allegheny Passage. Proceeds benefit the Woiner Foundation and the event starts and ends with music, refreshments and more. 6 a.m.-4 p.m., Heinz Field


  • Drag BrunchIf you’re bored with your usual brunch places, this is one of the most unique and ridiculously fun brunches in the city. On the first and third Sundays of each month, the best female impersonators make for an incredibly fun Sunday afternoon. 12 p.m., James Street Gastropub and Speakeasy
