Bloomfield has long been a popular place in Pittsburgh to eat… here are a few restaurants in Bloomfield to enjoy for your next meal out.
Lombardozzi’s
4786 Liberty Ave.
Lombardozzi’s has been around since 1973. It’s perfected the art of a mouthwatering chicken parmesan, a homemade seafood ravioli with vodka sauce and some of the best cannoli around. If you’ll have family or friends in town Lombardozzi’s does great banquets as well. We’re already dreaming of their meatballs just writing this! As far as Italian restaurants in Bloomfield are concerned, this one’s a classic!
Angelo’s Pizzeria
4766 Liberty Ave.
Angelo’s sells wonderfully cheesy pizza in Sicilian cut slices, a white pizza topped with big juicy tomatoes and savory garlic knots. Angelo’s is a takeout/delivery place, so if you’re looking to just hang out and binge watch a TV show, Angelo’s is a great addition to a relaxing evening.
Alexander’s Italian Bistro
5104 Liberty Ave.
Alexander’s is a romantic spot with little sidewalk tables to dine on warm nights. Enjoy dishes like Abby Alexandra’s Angel Hair, made with fresh tomatoes, spinach, chicken and a splash of white wine. Alexander’s also offers gluten free and wheat pasta options and even has a “pastabilities” option where customers can make their own pasta creations. Also great to try for lunch—Frank Blandi’s original “Turkey Devonshire,” turkey breast over crusty Italian bread with bacon and Bechamel sauce.
Tessaro’s
4601 Liberty Ave.
Tessaro’s … The burgers are heavenly. The atmosphere is old school and the grill is wood-fired. What more do you need to know? Tessaro’s is one of the most popular Italian restaurants in Bloomfield.
