Couples’ Beer Tasting: Spring Fling
The Settler’s Ridge Market District Cooking School is hosting a class at 6 p.m. specializing in those spring break mixed drinks and beers. There will be chef-prepared pairings to go with your tastings. Grounded for Good: Earth Day Birthday Celebration

Saturday April 22nd
Pittsburgh Pirates Home Run 5K/10K
Pirates Charities will host runners, walkers and fans for their annual race presented by the Allegheny Health Network, Highmark and the Chick Fil A One Mile Family Fun Run. There are new routes this year for a change of scenery. Participants will get a t-shirt and medal and a complimentary ticket to an upcoming Pirates game. Pretty cool! 9th Annual Superhero Run
Saturday looks like a busy day for all of you active Pittsburghers out there. The 9th annual Pittsburgh Superhero Foundation 5K run/walk and 1K family run is a family event that raises funds and awareness about child abuse and aid abuse victims. Sunday April 23rd
Pittsburgh Gear Fest
Celebrating Pittsburgh’s outdoors, craft beer week and Earth Day, participants can buy and sell their outdoor equipment and clothing at Gear Fest. Get ready for lots of outdoorsy vendors and fun. The fest runs from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. For more information on the fest click HERE.
Romeo and Juliet at the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater
Catch Romeo and Juliet at the Benedum Center on its last day of performances. At the later performance on Sunday at 4:30 patrons can watch the company in their warm-up class on stage and talk with artistic director of the show Terrence S. Orr.
