Friday Dec. 1st
Head to opening night of the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s performances of The Nutcracker, at the Benedum through Dec. 27th. Enjoy snow (indoors!), a huge Christmas tree and magic tricks too. This one is perfect to bring the whole family to. For more information on the show click HERE.
Crafts & Drafts: Ugly Sweaters
Make your own ugly sweater and be ready for all your holiday parties. Students can learn iron-on patch and applique and basic embroidery. All you need to bring is a sweater, the Society for Contemporary Craft brings the beer. $35, for more information on the event click HERE.
Saturday Dec. 2nd
Join the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Manfred Honeck and the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh in this festive, annual tradition that is sure to put you in the holiday spirit. For more information on the event click HERE.
Jingle Bell Run
Get decked out in your best holiday costume and be ready to run to raise money for The Arthritis Foundation. The event takes place at the North Shore and encourages lots of holiday cheer—think jingle bells on your shoelaces, reindeer antler headbands and more. For more information on the run click HERE.

Holiday Glass Sale
The Pittsburgh Glass Center is holding its annual holiday glass sale and it ends today. Enjoy glass for sale by regional artists and jewelry of all prices too. For more information on the holiday glass sale, click HERE.
People’s Gas Holiday Market
Enjoy the Christmas market inspired by Germany’s Christkindlmarkts. There will be plenty of local charms and if you contribute $5 as a donation to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, you’ll get a free photo with Santa. For more information on the holiday market, click HERE.
