We’re well into spring now Pittsburgh – even though it doesn’t quite feel like spring…yet! We hope you enjoy this weekend full of lots of active events, from the Pirates 5K/10K to the YMCA 150th anniversary gala and everything in between. That’s right… here’s our list of things to do in Pittsburgh!
Friday April 13th
YWCA Greater Pittsburgh 150th Anniversary Gala
Dr. Jill Biden will speak at the gala, which honors the YWCA’s commitment to eliminating racism and empowering women. More information on the gala can be found HERE.
Actors, comedy writers and and everyday Pittsburghers read their own personal stories while a DJ spins tunes. 7:30 begins with free drinks and games at the Bricolage Theatre. The evening’s performances include ASL interpretation. More information on the event can be found HERE.
Saturday April 14th
2018 Pittsburgh Half Marathon Course Preview Run

Pirates Charities are hosting walkers, runners and fans for the annual race. The finish line is on field at PNC Park and the post-race party is on Federal Street. For more information on the race, click HERE.
Sunday April 15th
Run Amok 5K
Run wild at the third annual Run Amok 5K. There’s no timing chip/registration fee but donations are encouraged for The Open Door, which engages the community and children. There will be a get-together at Hofbrauhaus post-race. For more information on the 5K click HERE.
12th Annual Farm to Table Western PA Conference
Celebrate connections made by supporting local farms, food producers, wineries, distilleries and breweries. For more information on the conference, click HERE.
