Excursion to the Exotic
One of the major social events of the year, the Zoo’s gala is a major fundraiser that helps provide care for animals and supports the zoo’s worldwide conservation efforts. For more information on the fundraiser, click HERE.
Saturday June 9th
Artillery & Artificers
Learn about artillery in the 18th century at the Fort Pitt Museum. This Living History program shows how artillerists provided for cannon firings. The cannon crew will fire the museum’s replica cannon during the day, depending on how the weather is. For more information on the event, click HERE.
Energy for Life Walk
The Pittsburgh Energy for Life Walk Committee has organized this event to raise awareness about mitochondrial diseases, particularly in children. Proceeds will help the UMDF provide support, education and research towards a cure for mitochondrial diseases. For more information on the walk, click HERE.

The Neighborhood Flea
