4 Great North Shore Restaurants

The North Shore is bustling with our sports stadiums and other businesses of course. However, that’s what makes it the perfect place for dining. There’s the upscale Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse, fun and lively Burgatory and more.

1. Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse

North Shore Restaurants

This high-end steakhouse is part of a national chain. In cooler months, enjoy two cozy fireplaces. Expect typical steakhouse fare like oysters on the half shell, heirloom tomato salad, filet mignon and shrimp cocktail. More information on Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse can be found here.

2. Burgatory

North Shore Restaurants

Shakes, cocktails, brews and gourmet burgers abound at this North Shore spot, with other locations around “tahn.” The shakes are truly the standouts, with spiked shakes like the burnt almond torte, spun with amaretto, or virgin shakes like the summery campfire s’mores. More information on Burgatory can be found here.

3. Jerome Bettis Grille 36

North Shore Restaurants

The restaurant owned by the great former Steeler Jerome Bettis is your typical American grill. Burgers and sandwiches and desserts are grouped according to a football game: Kickoff, Main Event, The Hand-Off and Overtime. Bettis’ grill has a fun and lively atmosphere perfect for families, friends and even afternoon dates before Steeler games. More information on Jerome Bettis Grille 36 can be found here.

4. Little Red Corvette

North Shore Restaurants

Located inside Tequila Cowboy, this place has an 80s and 90s themed bar pumps music from those decades along with plenty of food and drink. The bar is open from 11 a.m.-2 a.m. every day. More information on Little Red Corvette can be found here.

  1. They look great, thx. Maybe I missed it, but are their any good restaurants in the McKeesport / Irwin areas. Coming home for a reunion, all the places I used to frequent are gone, sadly like most of the “Port”
