Pittsburgh Beautiful is proud to partner with the University of Pittsburgh’s Theatre Arts Department, UP Stages to help bring attention to their 2018-2019 Main Stage Season, featuring four fantastic shows.
The first of these, She Kills Monsters, will run from October 4th through October 14th at the Charity Randall Theatre located on  4301 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213 – in Oakland.

Written by Qui Nguyen and directed by Kelly Trumbull and Ricardo Vila-Roger, She Kills Monsters is a comedic romp into the world of fantasy role-playing games,  that tells the story of Agnes Evans as she leaves her childhood home in Ohio following the death of her teenage sister, Tilly.

When Agnes finds Tilly’s Dungeons & Dragons notebook, however, she stumbles into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure in the imaginary world that was Tilly’s refuge.

In this high-octane dramatic comedy laden with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres, and 90’s pop culture, acclaimed young playwright
Qui Nguyen offers a heart-pounding homage to the geek and warrior within us all.

Let's be friends. Never miss a Pittsburgh Beautiful post again!
