Pittsburgh Beautiful is proud to partner with the University of Pittsburgh’s Theatre Arts Department, UP Stages to help bring attention to their 2018-2019 Main Stage Season, featuring four fantastic shows.
The third of these, Flyin’ West, will run from Thursday, February 14 to Sunday, February 24 at the The Henry Heymann Theatre located on  4301 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213 – in Oakland.
Show Times are Tuesday through Saturday at 8:00 PM and Sundays at 2:00 PM

Flyin’ West  is set in 1898 and tells the story of four African American women as they lay claim to land in Nicodemus, an all-black Kansas town. The play is a powerful commentary on freedom, sisterhood, identity and race. Based on fact, during Reconstruction many freed African Americans left the South to settle land out West.

American Sign Language Interpreters will be at the 8:00 PM performance on Saturday, February 23, 2019.
