Flyin’ West is set in 1898 and tells the story of four African American women as they lay claim to land in Nicodemus, an all-black Kansas town. The play is a powerful commentary on freedom, sisterhood, identity and race. Based on fact, during Reconstruction many freed African Americans left the South to settle land out West.
American Sign Language Interpreters will be at the 8:00 PM performance on Saturday, February 23, 2019.
