March is Women’s History Month and we’re celebrating by highlighting these 10 women-owned businesses in Pittsburgh.

1. Brambler Boutique

Selling apparel, toys, books and gifts for newborns through age six, Brambler is located on Butler St. in Lawrenceville. Owners Andi and Kati met through the Steel City Roller Derby as athletes and later became friends and neighbors. 2. Pittsburgh Property Diva

Lauren Klein of Pittsburgh Property Diva owns the top-selling real estate business along with business partner and husband Chris Klein. Klein enjoys building relationships with clients and prides herself on meeting people exactly where they are in their Pittsburgh real estate journeys. Lauren was born and raised in Pittsburgh too so she knows the city inside and out. Lauren is affiliated with Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services. 3. Burgh Brides

Popular Pittsburgh wedding blog Burgh Brides was launched five years ago by owner Victoria. The blog was named one of the top wedding blogs to follow by Blueprint Registry, a universal gift registry. 4. Dinette

The East Liberty pizzeria and wine bar was established 11 years ago. Chef and owner Sonja Finn became the first Pittsburgh chef to be recognized by the James Beard Foundation after opening her restaurant. Dinette serves piping hot thin crust pizzas and fun takes on appetizers like Jerusalem artichoke fritto and grilled shishito peppers. More information on Dinette can be found HERE. 

5. Love, Pittsburgh

Owners Kelly and Monica loved Pittsburgh so much they decided to turn their passion into a store. Their Mount Washington shop sells gifts and other trinkets that are Pittsburgh-themed. 6. The Farmer’s Daughter Flowers

Owner Lauren learned the art of floral design at Zuzu’s Petals, one of New York City’s elite flower shops. She was a farmer’s daughter, growing up in Pennsylvania, so Lauren returned home the first chance she got. 7. Moop 

Moop sells handmade canvas and waxed canvas bags for men and women at their downtown Pittsburgh studio. Owner, designer and manufacturer Wendy has a retail manufacturing space where bags can be seen being made right in the shop. 8. Leona’s Ice Cream Sandwiches

The small-batch ice cream sandwiches at pints at Leona’s use local dairy and ingredients whenever they can. Owners Katie and Christa named the shop after a rescue dog they adopted in 2012 at the age of 10. 9. NailChic

NailChic opened on West Liberty Ave. in Dormont in January of 2016. Dana Jones, who owns the mani-pedi bar, has been in the industry for 15 years. NailChic offers gift cards for online purchasing. 10. Tupelo Honey Teas

The tea shop and café in Millvale was the brainchild of Danielle Spinola. A lifelong tea drinker and never a coffee drinker, Spinola was always fascinated with the healing properties of herbs.
