Santa Visits Phipps Conservatory

Catch Santa on his last day at Phipps before he rushes back to the North Pole to prepare for Christmas! At 11 a.m., he will make an appearance at the botanical garden and conservatory to chat with Pittsburgh children about their Christmas wishes. Home for the Holidays Food Drive

Join local musicians Billy Price, Clinton Clegg, Paul Luc and more at this food drive and jam session. The event is held at the Pittsburgh Winery on Penn Avenue so expect plenty of delicious wine to go along with festive holiday music. Tickets are $15 and non-perishable food items are requested. The Hilarious Tales of Tim Hartman

Broadway and film star Tim Hartman (The Mothman Prophecies, The Fault in Our Stars) is at the Children’s Museum for this storytelling extravaganza. He will be performing at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Be prepared for lots of audience participation and improv! Meet, Learn, Play: A Gaming Meet-Up

Board game buffs, you’ll want to check this one out! Enjoy this all-ages board gaming session at the Carnegie Library on Christmas Eve morning. The fun starts at 11 a.m. with playing and learning new games with an instructor. Free, for more information click HERE.

Holiday Brunch at Habitat

Christmas and Hanukkah fall on the same day this year and Habitat is planning on celebrating big time with a decadent holiday brunch! This is truly a treat, with gourmet dishes like roasted beets with local goat cheese, honey and crisp frisee and red velvet buche de Noel with cream cheese frosting and candied pecans. Check out the holiday window displays, walk around and take in the sights and sounds of downtown on Christmas or even ice skate at PPG Place (they are open today!).
