The counties around Pittsburgh all have incredible local fairs this summer. Enjoy rides, food, games, entertainment and more at these seven county fairs around the ‘burgh.
The dates for the Westmoreland County Fair this year are August 17th-25th. Enjoy rides, typical fair food like funnel cake and lots of fair contests. The fair is celebrating its 64th year this year.
June 29th through July 7th marks the Big Butler Fair. There’s an antique tractor pull, horse show, a Ferris wheel, games, rides and more. Of course, there’s more fried food than you can count too, as well as 4th of July fireworks.
This year marks 65 years for Lawrence County’s fair. Enjoy 4-H crafts, a fair queen contest, baked goods for sale and more. Mark your calendars: the fair will be happening August 13th-18th this year.
August 25th through Sept. 1st marks this year’s Indiana County Fairgrounds. Enjoy plenty of rides, a train show, antique display and gardening show. There will be plenty of rides and food too.
Jefferson County Fair has so much entertainment. There’s a rawhide rodeo, car and truck mud bog and of course tractor pulls. The fair has amazing food and plenty of community fun too. Jefferson County’s Fair runs July 15th-21st.
Come out to Bedford County July 22nd through the 28th for their annual fair. With a tagline “Farms, Families, Fairs and Fun,” there is plenty to do for all ages. Enjoy a demolition derby, harness racing, horse racing, cart barrel racing and more.
For August 5th-11th, the Greene County Fair will include home and garden contests and pie baking contests. There are also plans for carnival rides and games and food like funnel cake, candy apples, cotton candy, hot dogs and more.
