Happy Labor Day weekend Pittsburgh! While this signifies the unofficial end of summer, we’ve got lots to look forward to, including an extra day of events to choose from this weekend. Here are just some of the many things going on in the ‘burgh the next four days.
Friday Aug. 30th
Heinz Field Kickoff and Rib Festival

77th Annual Big Knob Fair
Agricultural, livestock and commercial exhibits like tractor pulls, entertainment, midway rides, bingo and more. Free admission. For more information on the event, click HERE.
Saturday Aug. 31st
CycloXpgh ’19
Get ready for a big day of cycling with either 70 or 55-mile routes. You’ll see neighborhoods, trails and more—all the best the ‘burgh has to offer. For more information on the event, click HERE.
Brantley Gilbert Concert
Country music singer-songwriter Brantley Gilbert is at Keybank Pavilion this evening at 7 p.m. For more information on the event, click HERE.
Sunday Sept. 1st
I Am Pittsburgh Music, Arts and Wellness Festival
The first annual festival will bring together food trucks, bouncy houses and face painting for the kids and more. All proceeds for the event will be donated to Hope for Ghana, a nonprofit that hopes to create opportunity for the people of Ghana through clean drinking water and education. Joey Fabus Fundraiser Run
Hit the pavement for a 5K, 10K or 10-mile run to benefit the Joey Fabus Childhood Cancer Foundation. Afterwards, watermelon slices will be passed out. For more information on the run, click HERE.
Monday Sept. 2nd
Gatorade/Steelers 5K
The 31st annual event is a flat course that travels through the North Shore before heading through the service tunnel at Heinz Field. Former Steeler Franco Harris will be honorary captain. For more information on the event, click HERE.
